Sharee Millet- Owner, Director
Sharee Millet is the Owner and Director for Act It Out! Children's Theatre. Her goal is to create confident kids while teaching them the joys of theater.
She has been teaching Children’s Theatre for 15 years, and she absolutely loves watching a reluctant child say their part in a microphone in front of an audience!
Self-confidence is her goal as a teacher/director along with providing instruction on good stage presence, microphone technique, diction and more.
She has a wonderful husband, and together they have seven children, three beautiful granddaughters and one handsome grandson.
Sharee has loved dancing and singing her whole life. She was part of a touring dance company that toured Europe with Ricks College. She plays the piano and taught piano lessons for nine years. She worked in elementary schools as a para professional with autistic children. Sharee graduated from Weber State University in 1992. She grew up in Aberdeen, Idaho, served an LDS mission in Boston, Massachusetts (Spanish speaking) then moved to Utah for 21 years and now has lived here in Rexburg since 2011. She says, “Teaching children’s theatre is my passion and I want to help your child feel at home with me, make new friends, gain confidence and be able to provide an avenue to all those who are already ‘stage ready!'”
Jess Oyler is the Assistant Director for the Idaho Falls group of Act It Out! She is passionate about working with children and helping them grow their confidence and push the limits of what is possible.
She has a love for teaching and working with children. She has been a public speaker and business coach for two years.
She is a wife and mother of two creative girls who absolutely love being a part of the group each year. She has lived in Utah all of her life until her move to Idaho Falls in 2018 where she plans to stay.
She believes that "Theater is a tool to help children not only experience something new, but also learn more about themselves"

Heather Romrell- Assistant Director
Heather Romrell has been involved with Act It Out! Children’s Theatre since 2016 when her three sons became old enough to join. She has been an elementary school teacher since 2004 and loves working with children. She particularly enjoys watching children grow in confidence as they gain the skills they will need to be successful in life.
Heather grew up in Sugar City and has been heavily involved in music throughout her life. She starting playing the piano in first grade and gradually picked up the organ, trumpet, and French horn as well (although she hasn’t had many opportunities to play trumpet or French horn since high school). She also enjoys singing. She served a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she learned Portuguese. She and her husband have three sons and live in Menan.
Heather loves participating in Act It Out! and getting to work with Miss Sharee and these wonderful and amazing kids! She agrees with Augusto Boal, a Brazilian theater director, who said, “We must all do theater- to find out who we are, and to discover who we could become.
Mary Hanson- Assistant Director
Mary Hanson is the Assistant Director for the Rigby Idaho group of Act It Out! She is a lucky mother of three and blessed to be married to CJ Hanson. She loves being a mother and is thankful to be a stay-at-home mom. Mary loves theater, especially musical theater. Throughout Mary’s growing up years, her mom was the musical director at the high school and Mary went to countless early morning rehearsals and plays with her mom. That is where she fell in love with musical theater. Broadway music was always on in the house when she was little and she continues that music tradition with her own kids. Mary has participated in many plays, her favorite being Nunsense. Mary is excited to be a part of Act It Out! this year. “Theater teaches you how to be confident, express feelings and be yourself. It helps you have a better understanding of the world around you and its many different views.”
